Based on the original story of the same title published in 2015 by Takehiro Ueda, who has been in the spotlight since winning the 160th Akutagawa Prize this year, this is a musical drama presented in Eri Watanabe’s style.
This time, Eri Watanabe has invited Fumiyo Kohinata and Non, who have long been eager to appear in Eri Watanabe’s works, to take on the challenge of “playing many roles with a small cast,” which has been a long-held wish of Eri Watanabe herself. The film will be performed by only one person.
It will be interesting to see how the three acting talents will arrange and express the much-talked-about original story, which won the Yukio Mishima Award.
