How did you feel about participating in this collaboration?
I was very happy. When I first heard about the collaboration with GODIVA, which I have always admired when it comes to chocolate, I was really happy and honestly thought, “Yay! I am very happy to be here.
Memories of Valentine’s Day
I remember looking forward to it so much every year because my classmates and I would make such a big fuss about who to give it to and what to make.
Sparkling feelings for GODIVA
I was about a junior high school student when I started working. After that, I took the Shinkansen from Himeji Station to Tokyo to work.
I had been living in Tokyo since I was in high school, but when I got off the train at Himeji Station after a long time, I saw a GODIVA store and a GODIVA store. GODIVA is in Himeji Station! I was surprised and had a sparkling feeling.
About the artwork
Since the shape of the package is a heart, I wanted to make use of the heart as a motif (for the work).
Chocolates in the shape of the moon and stars, chocolates with berries, chocolates with spices, and various other chocolates, and when you open the box, a universe of chocolates spreads out. I wanted to mix and match a variety of colors, so I included them in the collection.
