36 years ago, this was the advertisement from Apple. I was searching for Steve Job and his relationship with Japan and came across this.

Steve Jobs arrived in Japan in 1983 and purchased a Japanese Ukiyoe print from 1920 by Hashiguchi Goyo, of a woman combing her hair at an art gallery in Ginza. This print was then introduced at a Macintosh presentation. At that time, it was too difficult to draw smooth curves like on the print with computer graphics. It is said that through this Japanese print, the world of computer graphics was the start of something for the future.
