Okamoto: “I actually often take students with me. I take them to the scene to talk and introduce them. I think that kind of thing must be incorporated into the curriculum of every school. That’s why teachers who have little connection with the outside need to thicken the pipe.
(Omitted)
Of course, it is essential to teach the basic subjects properly. However, in the process of learning basic subjects, I think it is absolutely necessary to have the perspective of “creating yourself in contact with society.” In other words, breathing in the air outside the school. After systematizing and organizing an academic curriculum within the school, we face the outside world. Then, what has been accumulated so far becomes messy once. It’s something that everyone experiences after they go out into society.

The teacher should give various experiences before the student goes out to the society, and for that purpose, how the teacher gains life experience is important. For students, it’s a lifelong treasure to meet people that they can’t reach on their own. ”
