Seijun Nishihata【Ultra Botanical Expo】(Art Produce Library)

POLA ORBIS HOLDINGS President, Satoshi Suzuki, called and, for 2 years, Seijun Nishihata gathered plants and exhibited plants full of design from all around the world for museums in Ginza and Hakone.

At the time of the exhibitions in 2015, it set a new record at the time for having the highest number of mobilizations rushed to the Ginza POLA MUSEUM ANNEX.

For the second exhibition in 2016, botanicals were sent from all over the world to Ginza.
SIMPLICITY Designer and Founder, Shinichiro Ogata, was in charge of the venue’s composition and, in a space completely different from the previous year, you could enjoy the collaboration between potter, Koichi Uchida, and Seijun’s botanicals in what became an ultra botanical exhibition.

Seijun Nishihata’s Profile:
Plant Hunter
Head of Sora Botanical Garden. Born in 1980. Is the fifth-generation successor in a family business of plant and flower wholesaling that started 150 years ago at the end of the Edo period. In 2012, set up Sora Botanical Garden with the aim of raising public awareness about plants. Has collected several thousand types of plants on his extensive travels in Japan and around the world. Receives about 2,000 orders a year from clients both in Japan and abroad. Engaged in numerous plant and greenery-related projects for companies and organizations.
