First, across the street, SANTA MONICA AUCTIONS.
This auction house has been run by Robert Berman since 1979. He had a Dennis Hopper silkscreened work for the next auction, so I took a snapshot of it. He is a very charming guy who tries to get me to buy it, saying, “This is too low a bid.

Further to the right is the Craig Krull Gallery. Although the owner was not present, Craig has an assortment of mid-career to seasoned artists.
