Naoki Sakai
Born in Kyoto in 1947, Conceptor & CEO of Design Water. After enrolling at the Kyoto City University of Arts, he went to the US and set up the Tattoo Company in 1968. He sold T-shirts with tattoo designs, which was a great success.
After returning to Japan in 1973, he founded STUDIO WATER. In 1987, he was involved in the development of Nissan’s “1-Be” and started the Retro Future trend. In 1988, he presented Olympus’ “product-O”, and in 1995, he was invited to present his piece at the MoMa themed exhibition, which went on to become a permanent collection. Founded Water Design in 2004. Presented 2 concept models from the au Design Project in 2005. Taught as a professor at Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus from 2008 to 2013.

Atsushi Fukuda
Born in 1965 in Osaka. Graduated from Nihon University College of Art. Founder of Sony Digital Entertainment. Guest Professor at Yokohama University of Art and Design and the Graduate School of Kanazawa Institute of Technology.
Other than working on branding, he is also active in a wide variety of ventures such as talent agency for the actress “NON”, casting for projects based in Beijing, invitations for international events, hosting of the “AI Salon” for enterprises, management of an art gallery in Los Angeles, high-tech agriculture in Okinawa, management of an NFT art gallery started in Estonia, and more.
