An art exhibition that was very popular last year in Ginza [Point-Rhythm World 2018 -Monet’s Microcosm-]
(Sebastian Masuda x Claude Monet) will be held at the “POLA Museum of Art” in Hakone!

I think it’s the first art production since I created a new company.
It will be held from Sunday, July 22nd, and we are planning a preview on that day, so we will launch the event page at a later date.

A few years ago, I was wondering if Monet’s world view could be reproduced with the latest VR technology. While I was planning, I met Sebastian Masuda’s work at a gallery in New York and my thoughts changed completely! The colors used in his work are modern pop, but they are like ukiyo-e, flat and three-dimensional.
To recreate Monet’s worldview in modern times, contemporary artists were more suitable than technology.
The answer is this Hakone exhibition.
