Mr Brainwash Art Museum: Play with Terry
ミスター・ブレインウォッシュと一日遊んでもらった。本当に楽しくてエネルギッシュな人だ。
今でこそ、ビバリーヒルズの一等地にミュージアムを開けるほど有名になったが、元々はストリートでテレビ修理工をしていた。そこから、謎のアーティストであるバンクシーと一緒にドキュメンタリー映画「イグジット・スルー・ザ・ギフトショップ」（2010年）を作り、一躍知られるようになった。（この時は、本名のテリー・ゲッタとして撮影している）
テリーとの出会いは今から10年前。彼の展示プロモーションを手伝ったことから仲良くなった。
その後、2020年から2021年にかけて、彼の展示をパルコと一緒に東京と大阪で行った。残念ながらコロナで来日できなかったが、大盛況だった。
このミュージアムも是非日本やアジアで公開したいね。
ここは、すでにロサンゼルスの新たなアイコンになっている。
ミュージアムは、彼のすごいエネルギーとアイデアがふんだんに詰まっている。来るお客さん全てに情熱を持って話しかけるサービス精神がすごい。みんなブレインウォッシュされてライフ・イズ・ビューティフルになる
I had a day of fun with Mr. Brainwash. He is a really energetic guy.
He is now famous enough to open a museum in a prime location in Beverly Hills, but originally he was a TV repairman on the street. From there, he made the documentary film “Exit Through the Gift Shop” (2010) with the enigmatic artist Banksy. (At that time, he filmed under his real name, Terry Guetta.)
I first met Terry 10 years ago. We became friends after I helped promote one of his exhibitions.
Then I did his exhibit in Tokyo and Osaka with Parco from 2020 to 2021. Unfortunately, he could not come to Japan for Covid-19, but it was a great success.
I would love to plan the opening of this museum in Japan and Asia too.
This place has already become a new icon in Los Angeles.
It is filled with his amazing energy and ideas. He has a great spirit of service and talks to all the customers with passion. Everyone is brainwashed and “Life Is Beautiful”.
