Even though I have lived in the country for a long time, I never miss city life.

The need for the city is not the city itself, but the function of the city.
It could be a good restaurant, the perfect communication environment, or sometimes you will want a luxury brand. And art is also important.

Architecture, houses, parties, clubbing… All are accessories that come from the city.

But you can get better food at lower prices in the countryside. In many places, the communication environment is comparable to that of urban areas. Living in the south, you can live naked, so you don’t need brand-name products. (But UNIQLO is important!) And, unfortunately, if you spend less time at home, you have less need for art. The presence of top-notch art in the city, where winters are long and people are often in their homes and buildings, is probably due to lifestyle. Conversely, there is no good contemporary art on the southern islands. Nature is art.

Of course, I have important family and friends in the city, but they only need to see me once in a while, and I have Facetime and LINE. I don’t feel inconvenienced.
Friends can be found all over the world, even in new places. There are many friends who are always on the move, so there is no need to stick to one place in particular.

In other words, if you are done raising your children and you are in the city and don’t have to see someone for work, you can live wherever you are. Of course, there is the big question of how to make money; the information industry, such as IT, has never been a problem before. You can do it in Bali or Paris. For those who work in other fields, it may be a good idea to start by living in the suburbs (within 1.5 hours from the city center) while changing your work style.

Leave the company, go to the countryside.
From now on we will be going to the city for parties and clubbing. Dress to the hilt.
