Ai Hashimoto and I had a lively yet relaxed conversation after a long absence.
The movie comes out next week!
NON: “If I were to go it alone, I would like to try glassblowing.
I have been interested in glass blowing since I saw a video of it on TV when I was a child. I’d like to try it somewhere.
Ryukyu glass looks good. I would love to make a glass, brew a pot of cold green tea, and drink it.”

Directed and written by Akiko Ookyu of “Farewell, Farewell” fame, this live-action film is based on the novel of the same title by Akutagawa Prize-winning author Risa Wataya.
NONO and Kento Hayashi co-star for the first time in this film, which depicts the clumsy love affair between a woman who enjoys her life as a single person and a younger man. Mitsuko Kuroda is a 31-year-old woman who has not had a boyfriend for years and is completely used to living alone. There is a reason why she is able to live happily and peacefully.
In her brain, she has another self, “A”, who is her advisor and always gives her the right answer when she is confused about relationships or how to behave herself. One day, Mitsuko falls in love with Tada, a young salesman for one of her clients. Mitsuko is perplexed by her inability to muster up the courage she once had, but she decides to take the first step forward. ……
Ai Hashimoto stars as Mitsuko’s best friend Satsuki, co-starring with Nonn for the first time since the NHK TV series “Amachan”.
