In the U.S., especially in Los Angeles, many people have a strong sense of self, so they can dress however they like and value their individuality. On the other hand, there is too much freedom and discrimination in some places…

But we do discuss differences of opinion thoroughly. Maybe the fact that I don’t avoid discussion makes me a stronger individual.

Of course, since I was born in Japan and love Japan, I think it is best if I can enjoy going back and forth between these two worlds.

I feel so at ease in a society like the U.S., where there is no thinking about how someone feels.In Japan, you have to do something lest someone think you are. So there is little room for you to think independently.

In America, especially in Los Angeles, you have a strong ego, so you can dress however you want and don’t judge people as much as possible.

But we do discuss differences of opinion thoroughly. Not avoiding discussion also strengthens my personal views.
