Comments from Producer Jun Fukuda
No matter how much President Trump screams “fake,” it doesn’t make the world any less real. On the contrary, there are not one but innumerable real ones. It is up to each and every one of us to decide what is real.

One day, President Toda of Denjuro Co. Mr. Toda inherited his father’s vast collection of hanging scroll art and other items that he had collected as an art dealer for 34 years and submitted them for art appraisal.
Unfortunately, some of them were appraised as fakes, and he was disappointed to find that these pieces of art had no value.

However, when I look at these works, it would be interesting if I could reevaluate them from a new contemporary perspective, rather than looking at them in a traditional art context. I thought it would be a good opportunity to reevaluate the origins of the works and to ask the question of “what is authenticity?

Now, do these gorgeous artworks look fake to your eyes? Fake.
