After Corona : Don’t seek stability. No fear of risk.
This photo was taken on June 18, 2021 in the vicinity of Roppongi Crossing.
A number of well-located stores near the intersection are closing in Corona.
Now, should we just lament this?
The events in my life that I have experienced include the bursting of the bubble economy (1992), the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake (1995), and the Sarin gas attack on the subway (1995) in my 20s, and the Great East Japan Earthquake (1995) in my 30s. In their 40s, there was the Lehman Shock (2008) and the Great East Japan Earthquake (2011).
And this time there was a coronal epidemic (2020), which happens only once every 100 years or so.
In other words, life is not so flat; it changes abruptly.
In just 55 years of life, many things can happen that will affect the fate of the rest of your life.
It does not seem that there will be a tomorrow in yesterday’s sequence.
So, we do not seek stability. We are not afraid of risk.
If you do it with that in mind, the future is not at all scary.
