Contemporary artist Yoshitomo Nara collaborated with fashion brand Stella McCartney for the first time.

Stella McCartney: “Today’s young people are open-minded and free of prejudice, and many of them are flexible in their views on gender. He added, “The punk attitude of young people toward the status quo has been expressed in the work of legendary artists such as Kurt Steinberg, who is also a legendary artist. The collaboration with Yoshitomo Nara was the source of inspiration for this project. Like his approach to his work, this generation is influencing social change through self-expression.

Yoshitomo Nara: “I thought that Stella McCartney, as a human being before being a designer, had very clear ideas about the state of society and environmental issues, and reflected them in her way of life. I decided to collaborate with them,” he says.

Models include actress and creative artist “Nonn,” actor and model Airu Kubozuka, stylist Michiko Kitamura, and Nara herself.
