Fukui Prefecture launched the “FUKUI TRAD” project on September 1, 2020 to promote the prefecture’s attractions in preparation for the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen lines to Fukui and Tsuruga, and the project is currently underway.

(Location: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Yo Shitara; hereinafter “BEAMS”), a partner of this project, and actress and creative artist “Nonn”, who is the project leader of BEAMS JAPAN. The group visited Fukui Prefecture, visited seven traditional craft factories, and spoke directly with craftspeople in preparation for product development.
