Kigeki Ozome Yotaro Chinmochu” was first performed under the title “Yotaro Meoto Tabi” at the Meiji-za Theater in March 1979.
Writer Isamu Onoda teamed up with rare comedic actor Norihei Miki to create a slapstick, unusual road trip centered around a rakugo comic story, with additional episodes from Kabuki.

Eri Watanabe and Tomohito Yashima play Ozome and Yotaro in “A Curious Road Trip.
The cast includes Yosuke Okawa, Takeshi Ukaji, Kenichi Ishii, Atsushi Fukazawa, Shikata Harumi, Naoya Ishibashi, Ryo Mitsutani, Yoshiki Arizono, Saiko Isshiki, Yuriko Hirooka, Michiko Ameko, and Tokuma Nishioka.
