Yesterday was the last foundation concrete pour. (Concrete is carefully measured for salt, humidity, and viscosity.)

The penthouse is the ground floor, and the second basement floor is currently under construction. The exterior of the building will be completed in June, and Kengo Tamae, a plasterer, will finish the entire building from July onward.

Construction will finally get underway in the summer.

As for neighborhood info, there’s a “Costco” coming in the middle of next year! (3 minutes from our farm, 10 minutes from the resort)

In addition, the Southern East Highway (12 km Osato→Oshiro→Sashiki/Tamashiro→Tsukishiro) will open in a few years. Currently, the road is partially open (2 km from Osato Oshiro to Sashiki Niisato in Nanjo City), but eventually it will take about 20 minutes from Okinawa Airport to Speedy Resorts. (Currently 35 minutes)

Many people go to the West Coast along Route 58 (which leads to Onna Village, Yanbaru, and other northern areas) or to central Okinawa such as Chatan, Yomitan, and Ginowan, but in fact, the best access and the best nature are found in the south where Nanjo and Itoman are located.

Many great restaurants have been built and it’s very satisfying, and it’s close enough to go drinking in Naha and go home. (If you go to the north, you can’t play in Naha.) If you want to enjoy both the city and the countryside, the south is the only place to go.
