Just a 5 minute drive from Speedy Resorts Okinawa is the new African restaurant, HARVEST MOON Coffee & Wine!

The owner, Mr. Juya Shimokawa, is also from the Kansai region. For many years he has been digging water sources in the drought areas of Kenya and providing them to people.

The building, interior, and food are not Africanized and have a sophisticated design that is easily recognizable to the Japanese. I had chicken curry for lunch and it was delicious! The restaurant is also open at night and offers a wide variety of snacks. There are not many places to enjoy dinner in this area, so it is very rare.

There is also a gallery where visitors can view the owner’s African photographs, and weddings can be held in the back yard.

If you’re ever in the southern part of Okinawa, you gotta come check this place out!
