Jeez! will be in 4K, and the morning drama “Amachan” will be rebroadcast from April.

NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) will rebroadcast the digitally remastered version of the much-talked-about 2013 TV series “Amachan” on BS4K/BS Premium from April 3. The time will be from 7:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. every Monday through Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. every Sunday (six consecutive episodes for one week). 156 episodes in total.

Screenwriter Kudo Kankuro depicts a “humanistic comedy” set in his hometown in Tohoku. The heroine, Aki Amano, who yearns for her grandmother who lives in Kita Sanriku, declares her ambition to become a diver, but by chance, she and her friends decide to become idols.
