FUKUI TRAD, a project to promote Fukui Prefecture’s traditional crafts, in collaboration with BEAMS, won three awards at AD STARS 2021 (Busan International Advertising Festival)!
The “AD STARS” (Korea) is one of the three major advertising awards in Asia, along with “Spikes Asia” (Singapore) and “Adfest” (Thailand).
FUKUI TRAD was launched by Fukui Prefecture in September 2020. New products from seven traditional crafts in the prefecture were developed and presented in February 2021. Promotional activities were also conducted with videos of the scenery and craftspeople in the production areas. According to the prefecture, this is the first time in four years that a Japanese municipality has won the prize.
