LA-based street artist MR. BRAINWASH’s solo exhibition will open at Shibuya PARCO on Saturday, February 27, 2021!

A solo exhibition by LA-based street artist MR.BRAINWASH will be held at Shibuya PARCO starting this Saturday (February 27), following the one in Osaka!
LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL”, his first solo exhibition in Japan, will feature approximately 80 works by Mr. Brainwash.
The works drawn for this exhibition, such as limited edition works with Japanese motifs (different from those in Osaka!), are newly drawn. will also be available.
The exhibition will be held simultaneously at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO (4F) and GALLERY X (B1F) for the first time, with the B1 exhibition opening on Wednesday, March 3.
◆mr. brainwash
Street artist/filmmaker.
Real name Thierry Gwetta. Born in France and moved to LA in the 1980s, he began his career as a filmmaker in 2007.
Banksy’s film “Exit Through the Gift Shop,” in which he appeared, led to his full-fledged activity as a street artist. He has been a member of the “Musee de la Ville” since its inception in 1975.
He has had major solo exhibitions and artist-in-residence programs at Art Barcel, the world’s largest art fair, as well as at the Mato The album jigs for musicians such as Lick Ross, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and He also collaborates with former first lady Michelle Obama and soccer player Pele, and contributes to society through his art activities. The company continues its activities.
