Tomoyasu Hirano, a friend of mine who lives in Hawaii, wrote a review of my new book, “Swiss Iru Ikiru Korona Jidai!”

This book is based on a conversation between Naoki Sakai, a conceptor, and Jun Fukuda, a brand consultant. It is an “exquisite stand-up talk” (← self-explanatory name) that discusses everything from every angle. No, I don’t know if he was standing (perhaps he was sitting remotely?). The Two people on the cutting edge of business can be overheard standing around talking about something that is going on. What a great opportunity. And, I think, this book has QR codes to access a lot of information, and you get a lot of their perspectives. But maybe that shouldn’t be the goal. It has to be so that the three of us can have a trilogy discussion after entering this standing conversation saying, “Yeah, yeah, right…”.

Why? Because Mr. Fukuda’s primary message in this book is that individuals (themselves) must DX first. He is saying that we should DX the way we perceive ourselves, the way we organize information, and the way we live and the relationships we have with others, and then business will be successful and life will be fun.

Probably. So this is not an information book. It is a book of teasers for each of us to DX and an igniter to help create a trigger. So, in your own way, “Right, right, you know, so to speak!” I wanted to be able to break into a conversation between two people, and I thought this book was for that purpose. The individual pieces of information covered in the book are of great value, but don’t let them distract you. You will probably learn a lot of things you didn’t know, and we as readers will say, “Oh, wow, that’s amazing, I didn’t know that was possible! As you get used to it, you will be confronted with the incomprehensible thing that is DX in your own way. DX is difficult to understand because it is grandiose, complex, and multi-layered; it is not something that says, “There is A, there is B, so add the two together and you get C. Why are we doing the work?　What should our corporate organization look like in 10 years?　Where do you live and what do you do for a living?　No, we don’t even have to decide where we live, do we?　It is like this, and what we deal with is <life and society itself>.

If you think that DX is about replacing existing businesses with digital ones, read this book right now and get rid of that idea. DX is about questioning fundamentally the way we live, the way we relate to each other, and the way our society is, and then making as many beta hypotheses as possible and implementing more and more strategies with technology. The biggest keyword in this book, in my opinion, is “remote trust. This one word is extremely important. It refers to the ability to create a relationship of trust through remote communication, even with people you have never met face-to-face. A relationship in which you can ask for something and trust each other without having to meet in real life. It is the ability to exchange something without having to meet in real life. The relationship should be such that you can think of each other as “I’m not a good person, I’m not a bad person. Remote trust is necessary for this. This is a power that will become even more important after the Corona Disaster is over, no matter how you look at it. Because remote is free, efficient, and allows us to meet many more unknown people and events, it is natural that everything will be replaced by remote, although real is great in real. If there is no trust then, it is just dystopia.

So why do we need that trust? It is for both parties to live life happily. That is why the title of this book is “Living a Swiss Life. Based on the above, I would like to ask the two authors and myself. What this book deals with is mainly in the area of business. As a businessman, it seems that I could live a Swissy life if I jumped into the conversation with the two of them and work together on a project. But this is the age of mixing public and private life. It is certain that the most enjoyable way to live would be if the boundary between work, play, and life disappears. Because when an individual is DXed, he or she is connected to various people and projects. There would be no boundaries, and it would be more enjoyable. If this is the case, I think there are many areas that this book has yet to explore. I’m going to bring it to the stand-up conversation with a bang. Don! and put it down and say, “Hey, hey, how about this? I thought of something like this!” Sakai and Fukuda both threw in things they had not anticipated. In this way, each person’s area of expertise is brought together and connected.

That kind of future would be nice.”
