Lecture [Society in the New Era Changed by Art] (Part 1)
Jun Fukuda, Brand Consultant
Fukuda: “For about half of my business life so far, there were no computers in the workplace. How on earth did I work back then? But productivity hasn’t changed much. It is not as if Japan’s GDP doubled before and after the Internet. In Japan’s case, it has rather gone down. Even though the Internet has made things more convenient and efficient, productivity has not increased. In fact, productivity in another sense has declined due to overwork, and I think the situation has not changed much in recent years.
But how do we take advantage of these new technological advancements? I think that is the point that I would like to discuss with you all today.”
