If there are Japanese boys and girls who say, “It’s hard to live,” then I want to change Japan! This is what I have been trying to do. Taiwan allows same-sex marriage, so why not Japan as well?

I went to Nichome and made a lot of friends. Some came to Tokyo from the countryside but had no choice but to work in the mizu-shobai business, and some worked for good companies but were fed up with life. I heard many stories of such people. I thought about what I could do, and since all of my Gravure fans are male, I wondered what I could sell to them. Then I thought of lingerie.”
