Eri Watanabe commented.
I am pleased to announce the launch of the “Eri Watanabe Office” this April.
With the Corona Disaster, I seriously considered what I should do in the future.
He is now 66 years old. I wondered how many more years I could do my creative work.
After much thought and consideration, I have decided to leave Sisu Company, the firm I have worked for for 12 years, amicably.
Eri Watanabe intends to pursue her own creative world further in the future.
Looking back, I was born in Yamagata, and my first visual experience was when I was fascinated by “The Red Shoes” at the age of two. Then, when I was in high school, I saw Tennessee Williams’ play “The Glass Menagerie,” which made me long for the world of theater.
When I saw “Sunday at Sibert” at a famous film theater in Yamagata, I dreamed of becoming a director who would make films like this.
I would like to return to my original intention and use my imagination to inspire people around the world to be happier.
As in the past, I intend to continue to be active in television, commercials, and the theatrical activities of the theater company I preside over, “Gekidan 300” (Office 300). The same goes for concerts.
I will continue to create my own works that will help to create a diverse society in which each and every vulnerable person in the world can demonstrate his or her individuality.
We look forward to your continued support.
