This collabooration was made possible by the appearance of “Nonn” as a key visual model for the Ground Y 2020 Spring/Summer collection. The images were inspired by free words such as “Yohji Yamamoto” and “Ground Y.” The handwritten paintings drawn for this collaboration are boldly printed on the canvas of Ground Y clothing. The prints are printed and expressed. The collection is based on a pattern with plenty of volume, which allows the wearer to enjoy the “in-between” between the clothes and the body that is the characteristic of the brand, and incorporates irregular drawcord details to allow the silhouette to freely change along with the wearer’s body shape.
