“on the (inter)net” artist Yuriko Iyanaga
Finally, we’re unveiling it today from 4-7pm!
It’s a very small-scale event, but I’m going to do the opening at the gallery in the Monkey Cafe in Daikanyama. The artist Yuriko Yanaga is a genius. It will probably take her another five years to make her breakthrough. I’ll miss it later! If you have time, please stop by and see the artist and myself. We have good coffee, too.

The world is booming with the NFT art boom.
So what about traditional media art?
Artist Yuriko Yanaga’s raspberry artwork has the answer.
For millennials like Yanaga, paint has become a tablet, and the material for painting has shifted from reality to found images from the Internet.
After mastering oil painting at the graduate school of Kyoto City University of Arts, Yanaga expresses the world with a new technique via (inter)net because he does not want to leave real traces of his painting.
Here is a new form of painting for the millennial generation.”
