I can get a 5G signal on my phone and it’s comfortable, but the idea of a deserted island still captures my imagination.
If you could take only one book with you to a deserted island, what would it be? I would have to say “Kojien” (I’d like to answer “Kindle” here, but I’d have to secure a power supply…). (I’d like to answer with a Kindle, but I’d have to find a power supply…) The premise of this question is that you will spend almost a lifetime on a deserted island, so you want a book that you can never finish reading.
If this is a book that makes me laugh no matter how many times I read it, I fear when it stops making me laugh. I can’t imagine taking a favorite book with me, because I have the personality to never read it again, even if I like it. Something like the Bible or scripture, help me inwardly! I don’t choose them because they seem like sentimental selections that say.
