Opening of Billy Zane’s art exhibit!
From 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., champagne, wine, and beer are available for guests.
Look at this picture of this huge turnout! Probably over 500 people showed up. Walk-in art lovers, Billy and my friends, and other rumors led to the largest turnout ever.
It would have been so hard to tell who was the gallerist anymore. I believe that a gallerist’s job is not only to sell paintings. Some of the visitors were looking at the paintings and thinking to themselves, others were discussing what this painting was. Some people are so moved that they are crying. Young people like art students are often seen taking notes with great enthusiasm.
This is why I run my art gallery, to see this scene. Art can heal the hearts of those who have been hurt by Corona. And it can bring back vitality to the city. I want the most human place to be a gallery. If art does not give meaning to a place, it is a defeat for human progress.
I am grateful to curator Eway for making this exhibit possible, to gallery staff Umi and Margary, and to the entire family for their help this time, my daughter and son.
Open to the public from tomorrow. We look forward to seeing you there.
