I am not a sauna person myself, but I have experienced authentic wax saunas in Finland and Estonia (there is a Speedy Euro OÜ in the capital Tallinn).

Löyly Helsinki” in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is the best. The sauna’s unusual temperature and the water bath directly in the sea are extreme. And the sea is suddenly deep!

In Japan, I learned a lot from “Rakan no Yu” (Takeo, Saga Prefecture), a regular top Sauna Schlumberger. The owner, Yoshihisa Obara (owner of Chikurin-tei and president of Rakuen Keikaku Co., Ltd.), has a wonderful ideological design. I experienced heat retention and a new way of spending time by making it with paint. He wanted to recreate that experience in Okinawa.
