Japan’s needs problem

TBS “NEWS23
Janes issue.
As you know, in recent years the Korean entertainment industry has dramatically expanded its market to meet global standards. But in the beginning, they too studied the structure of Japanese idols and Johnny’s.
So what will happen to the Japanese entertainment industry?
I am sure nothing will change. The changes that everyone expects will not happen. And they will continue to live only on ever-decreasing domestic demand, not looking at the global market. Even if the area is gradually reduced, they will continue to do business in a closed space, threatening and scaring their clients in the same way as in the 20th century. In case you are wondering, the number of drama slots in Japan is 1/3 of what it was 30 years ago, and the number of clients has decreased by 30%. Therefore, it is only natural that the business will become less and less profitable.
I remember a recent news story. A yakuza boss tried to send assassins to his rival yakuza, but none of the gang members were afraid to do it, so he got numb and attacked the rival yakuza himself on his bicycle with a pistol, but was arrested for attempting to do so. What a sad case!
Since the enactment of the Violence Against Women Act, the yakuza’s power has been steadily reduced, and they are unable to pay their gang members enough compensation, so they are in the pitiful situation of raiding by bicycle instead of car.
The Japanese entertainment industry will follow the same shabby path as the Yakuza after the Violence Against Women Act. They continued to think of television, which no one watches, as their exclusive interest, prevented new entrants, and the next thing you know, there was no one there.
The Johnny’s office will never truly be sorry, nor will the TV stations that continued to use the talent created by the sexual assault. Their tanimachi, corporate clients, have no intention of parting with the past either.
This is the reality.
I am concerned that well-known sexual assailants will be unable to talk about their trauma for the rest of their lives. (This time, the not-so-famous celebrities were able to confess. (This time, a not-so-famous celebrity could confess, but a famous celebrity with a huge fan base and corporate clients would not be able to talk about his or her sexual assault.)
There is no need to deal with such Japanese entertainment industry. New content is being created online every day. The few production companies that can adapt to change will find more and more success globally.
The old arts that exist today will not change. The new ones ignore the old and celebrate the changes in the world. That is the law of an evolving civilization.
