Two years ago, he decided to build the world’s best condominium on the cliffs of Hyakuna, a sacred site that looks up to the island of Hisaka, the island of God in Okinawa, which he found by chance.

Thinking back to the best vacation condos I have experienced around the world, I have come this far by keeping pace with my sense of design and art with Hayaya and Kaori Yamamoto of the young design firm AtelierTete.

The 70 days of long rains have delayed the completion of the project, but this has allowed us to incorporate many new ideas. Currently, we have just finished pouring concrete for the relaxation floor (wax sauna, Goemon bath, water bath, gym space, etc.), which is located downstairs from the main floor. We hope to somehow complete it by the end of the year.

Now, we would like to raise the building before the coming typhoon season. We plan to create a luxurious space that makes the most of curves in both the exterior and interior. We are also looking forward to Kengo’s creativity at Tamae Plastering.

We are planning to start such vacation rentals in Los Angeles and Palm Springs soon, where people can become one with nature.
